Snack Time

"I'll just eat the frosting."

We had another walking field trip yesterday. I promised the kids a snack when we returned because the walk was about 2 miles round trip. One little guy told me he didn't like the Wal-Mart brand NutriGrain bars I brought so he would "just eat the frosting". I replied with the famous, "you get what you get and you don't throw a fit." He went ahead and ate the snack.

Field Trip Fun

"Please don't be sick tomorrow...if we have a sub she won't take us on the field trip!"

We are going on a field trip today. Yesterday I was feeling yucky and the kids in my class knew. One little girl is VERY excited about the field trip and concerned that she will have to miss it if I'm sick. I wish today were a normal day because I am feeling worse than I did yesterday.

Oh yeah, did I mention it's a walking field trip?
